Breakup with Big Beauty
Lexli is a fledgling skincare brand that's aiming to beat the big guys by debunking popular skincare myths. Their tagline represents their cause: Pure Aloe, Simple Truth.

To drive traffic to their main site, lexli.com, Maddock Douglas created a microsite branded "Stop Lying to my Face." On this site, consumers can share their frustrations and learn more about how they are being manipulated by the giants of the beauty industry.

The objective of this project was to create a contest site to support the "Stop Lying to my Face" microsite where participants could "Break Up with Big Beauty" by posting their rant on Facebook or Youtube.

My idea was to get users through the contest registration with minimal effort and clear explanation of the project. I also created banners, placed on popular beauty website, to drive traffic to the contest.
